Baku Street Dog Rescue (BSDR) is a 501(c)(3) charity founded in 2014 by a small group of national and international people, many of whom worked in Baku, Azerbaijan. BSDR has placed over 500 dogs into loving homes in the US, UK, Europe, and Canada.
BSDR’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome street dogs and cats in Azerbaijan. Our aim is to promote animal welfare and protect against cruelty and neglect by creating bonds between humans and animals.
