Altay

Altay is a lovely large boy who suffers with the elbow shortening as Badger. He is not keen on other dogs possibly because he is slower but other than that he is an uncomplicated chap, whose needs are simple. He loves to sit quietly in the sun but he would gladly share that spot with the right person.

He is a happy, simply guy who prefers humans to any dog.  Loves to be outside with people, sniff, and mark his territory.  Does not play well with other dogs, but adores people.

Altay has never been in a home environment and is not house-trained. However, like most street dogs he is a clever boy, and he will learn quickly.  Because Altay is fed separately in his kennel, we are unsure of any food sharing issues.  He has not been tested with cats or thoroughly tested with children however, he has behaved very well with young visitors (age 9 and up).  Altay has spent enough of his life on the streets, and now in kennel – he is so ready to spring a flight to Canada or Europe and find his happily ever after family.
